FOR TODAY July 7th, 2008
Outside My Window…You can see the blue sky again.  Cars going past, wish it was my garden.
I am thinking…About what needs to be done this week.  Get house ready for cousin Julie.  Turn in a report.  Keep weeding.
I am thankful for…My husband.  He’s a wonderful loving man and a good friend to boot.
From the kitchen…Tonight, spicy greens from the garden.  With olive oil and garlic and yummyness
I am wearing…Black corderoy skirt, black tank top with white accents, antiqut sliver drop earings etched with kind of a botanical print.
I am creating…Another fountain.  This time I’ll try the clear acrylic for water.
I am going…Have family over for another bbq on Saturday.
I am reading…Still reading Snow Crash.  It’s taking me a while to get thru.
I am hoping…That the air stays clear.  That my tomatoes hurry up and get ripe.
I am hearing…A baby coo and babbel.  A three year old reconect with his mother.  Squeky wheels on the stroller.
Around the house…Clutter.  More weeding to be done.  Clean up the patio.
One of my favorite things…Caffiene.  Blessed caffiene.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Straiten the back yard.  Get the washer and dryer on craigs list again.  Do the shading on my new fountain.   Not miss any workouts with my sister.
Here is picture thought I am sharing…Not today.

FOR TODAY … 30 June 2008

Outside My Window…Trees, a quiet street, gray sky that I hope means rain.

I am thinking…About the power of positive reinforcement.  How often we forget the effects of praise.  How sad it is that we try to basic behavioral change on punishment.  And how often we do it to ourselves.

I am thankful for…Fire Fighters.  Dvds.  Having family that I connect with.  Lite Caesar dressing.

From the kitchen…I think I’ll make roast vegetables tonight.  Beets and carrots and onions and potatoes with olive oil and garlic.  Maybe pick up some rosemary garlic bread.

I am wearing…Black slacks, a soft gold tank top.  It’s velvet with a front panel of satin with roses.  There’s lace around the neckline.  It’s incredibly feminine.  A funky green and gold necklace that I beaded.

I am creating…Simple necklaces from the red dragon beads.  Tried to use liquid sculpty for water in the fountain and failed.  May be able to salvage it.

I am going…To keep trying to learn how to create links to photos.

I am reading…Snow Crash by  Neil Stephenson

I am hoping…That the fire’s will be out in Lake’s Basin this week. That we remember to have a back up plan.

I am hearing…Nothing much.  But that wont last long.

Around the house… Matt did an awesome job organizing and cleaning in the den.

One of my favorite things…Peaches.  A fresh, ripe peach is heaven.  Reminds me of being 6 yo, sitting on the steps to my Grandma’s house in WA.  My sister and I were eating these giant peaches from a roadside stand and were kicked out for being too messy.  I’ll always remember how juicy those peaches were.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Ignore the hot tub because I couldn’t find my roommate this week.  Go to the store and buy food for the camping trip.  Print maps and figure out our back up plan.  Get fire wood, gather all the camping stuff in one place, pack my duffel bag.  Be away from people and just us for a couple of days.

Here is picture thought I am sharing…I haven’t put any new ones on my flickr stuff, so how about a joke.

How many psychology’s does it take to change a light bulb?

Only one, but the light bulb has to want to change.

FOR TODAY … 23 June 2008

Outside My Window…Smoke and that odd color of light that happens only when you have fires.

I am thinking…I don’t have my inhaler with me today.  My honey makes me laugh.  I love what if games.  I need to make a pot of coffee.

I am thankful for…People with a good sense of humor.  Imagination.  Text messaging.

From the kitchen…The lingering smells of BBQ.  Hamburgers, corn, watermelon, cheese cake, and lighter fluid.

I am wearing…The same thing I was wearing last Tuesday.  I have a pretty new necklace that my sister made for me.  Unfortunately it’s still sitting in my jewelry box.

I am creating…Some red dragon beads.  A miniature fountain and bench.  A mess of my studio.

I am going…Camping for the fourth of July.  To put in time off for my cousin coming to spend a weekend before she has a year exchange with Japan and for my birthday too.

I am reading…Nothing to Lose by Lee Child.

I am hoping…That Matt will help me plan for the camping trip.  He’s the boy scout.

I am hearing…Cars go by.  My crunchy salad that I decide would be better for breakfast.

Around the house… I have some tidying to do after the BBQ.

One of my favorite things…Googel.  Where did questions go B.G?  (Before Google)

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:Put down some  more paving stones by the hot tub and plant moss in them.  Beat up my friend until he helps me get the hot tub working.  And if all of that works, sit in the hot tub in the middle of the night, under the stars and cuddle with my honey.

Here is picture thought I am sharing…Still don’t have one to share.

I found this this morning on Sleepy cat’s blog (http://sleepycathollow.wordpress.com/).  I know I’m a day late but it sounded like fun so, I’ll be a day late this week and try to do it on time next week.  I still have a lot to learn about how to link things and use graphics and all of that.  If I screw it up I’m sorry and if anyone wants to give me advice or how-to on this I’d appreciate it.  That said.

FOR TODAY 6/17/08
Outside My Window…Is a very beat up and steep driveway.  The clients are in groups and it’s quite right now.  Across the street there’s a rose bush that I want.  It climbs up the back of a town house, all over the rail of the balcony.  The flowers are wine colored.
I am thinking…That I want to go play in the dirt.  I want to work on the new bed for my roses.  That I have a lot to do today.
I am thankful for…Sunshine and dirt.  For having a house where I can enjoy them.  That it’s finally warm.  For good books and that I can wear flip flops to work.
From the kitchen…Tilapia and lemon herb ed butter sauce.  Matt mushifyed the vegetables again.  It’s ok, getting better at it.  This time they were still green/
I am wearing…My favorite black slacks ever.  Black and white striped tank, black poka dot flip flops, and a camo bandanna that I’m not sure matches.
I am creating…More necklaces to use my handmade beads and hopefully some to sell.
I am going…To workout with my little sister when I get off of work.  We’ll either play DDR at her place or take my temporary dog for a walk or pull weeds.
I am reading…Snow Crash.  Because Matt’s talked about it the whole time I’ve known him and he grabbed it when we were at the library Saturday.
I am hoping…That the interviews and physical tests go well for my honey.  That we’ll be able to pay for everything when the mortgage goes up this month.
I am hearing…The blessed sound of our AC running.  My office mate typing.  The occasional chirp of birds outside.
Around the house…Things need to be picked up.  The dogs have shed on everything.  I’m still enjoying the feel of the carpets getting cleaned last weekend.
One of my favorite things…Is that my husband kisses me goodbye every morning and tells me he loves me.  I carry that with me during the day.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:Re-pot my pineapple plant.  Give my sister a rosemary plant. work on putting in my new rose bed.  Reseed the front lawn and pull weeds, lots and lots of weeds.
Here is picture thought I am sharing…I don’t have one.
